飞往父亲的鸟是一部剧情,家庭片，相片與錄像記錄的，不只是一瞬間的影像，更是一家人的誤會與冰釋。少翔趁著兒子一歲生日，一家三口到郊野公園拍攝全家福。期間突然收到母親來電，得悉患有腦退化症的父親失了蹤。少翔毫無頭緒，只記得父親醉心攝影，最喜歡到郊野公園拍攝雀鳥，於是專程走到雀鳥出沒的地方，希望尋回失蹤父親。焦急的尋人路上，他不但走進人群與山野，還一步一步踏上父親的足印，重新認識這位熟悉的陌生人，更發現他埋藏心底的秘密……

On his son's first birthday, Siu-cheung takes his family to the countryside for a family portrait when he suddenly receives a call from his mother. His father, a bird photographer suffering from dementia, is missing. Siu-cheung looks for him in the country parks where his father visits to take photos of birds. He fails to find his father, but finds himself getting closer to his father's inner world. He slowly gains more appreciation and understanding of his father whom he considered irresponsible.
