After a spectacular escape, Steef returns to the Zonnewijk to take his son Sem, taken by Jessica, a relative. When it does not work to get Sem, Steef wants revenge. For the loss of Rebecca and his current situation as a fugitive, in which he is separated from his son, he sees in the coma-like Eve the blame of everything. He seeks her at the hospital for the purpose of ending her life.
