A wounded Dr. Xiao Zheng-xun returns to Taiwan following a stint as a war zone doctor in Jordan, only to encounter a metro bomb attack. As fate would have it, Dr. Xiao is later tasked with establishing a trauma unit at Kanglian Hospital with his ex-girlfriend, Yang Wei-yu. Unexpectedly, he uncovers powerful interests lurking behind the bomb attack case, setting off a scandal that would rock the entire medical system to its core...
