Two years after fiancé Elvis jilted her at the altar Lance corporal Georgie Lane, an experienced paramedic, leaves new boyfriend Jamie to travel to Kenya with Captain James and 2 section on a humanitarian tour dealing with Somalian refugees. In Kenya itself the reception is largely friendly but Georgie's services are required when Al-Shabaab terrorists plant an IED which causes several casualties. When aid worker Kicki is taken hostage by the terrorists Georgie joins the rescue party but ends up being taken prisoner herself.
