后见之明是一部惊悚片，蒂娜和罗尼是一对游手好闲、不务正业的小情侣。一天，蒂娜发现自己怀孕了。因无力抚养，蒂娜和罗尼计划把未出世的孩子卖给一对有钱的夫妻保罗和玛利亚。事情开始进展得很顺利，可是因为罗尼打了蒂娜一巴掌而急转直下。双方撕破了脸，一场关于孩子的大战就此轰轰烈烈地上演。
